This is an unofficial declaration of my abandoning Ametsuchi.

Just the storyline, really, and the uh... setting... and all that. You gotta write what you know, right? So let's face it---I know nothing about war/martial arts/period Asia/religious systems/etc. (yes, that's what the story would've centered around had I gotten so far), and even though I say "oh it's my fictional world screw history," the minimal research needed to make it a decent world is kind of ridiculous.

I can't deal with it, and that just slows down my pace EVEN MORE than it would if it was saaaay in a modern setting. And with college next fall and my already terrible, terrible time management, who knows if I'd get close to finishing EVER. I'm just not capable of epics.

Of course, I will definitely continue shaping and drawing my characters, but possibly and probably with human ears, different names, MODERN CLOTHES (because I want to draw different outfits, hah), less wapanese, and all that. Perhaps I will make a new, less clichedly epic story for their revamped designs?

SO, if anyone thinks I should post a little list/summary of what WOULD HAVE BEEN, I'd be more than glad to share so that all these years of "hard" work wouldn't be for naught. For example, character histories, ending ideas (yeah, I didn't even have a solid conclusion planned), Psycho Blondie's name, world/setting tidbits, and so on. Thoughts?
